The Green Light Project
The Green Light project is a scheme established to help those who are unemployed, under-employed or simply unhappy. It’s about the transition into employment, education or voluntary roles, using an easily recognisable traffic light system of Red, Yellow and Green.
First, we will establish with you which zone we believe you are currently in (see below for broad definitions of the zones). We will then create a personal development plan with you to identify what support you need. Once that’s been done we will offer you a selection of options in partnership with other organisations, ranging from CV building, developing personal skills, qualifications (e.g. CSCS and first aid), to careers guidance and planning and support to apply for jobs and/or courses.
It doesn’t matter who you are or what experiences you have: our primary goal is to help you!
Are you currently unemployed or under employed? Are you unhappy with the situation you’ve found yourself in and want to make a change in your life? Maybe you don’t know where to start or how to go about making this change and feel stuck? You may be in the Red Zone, and we can help!
Are you prepared to make a change and ready to take that next step? Are you already making that change but struggling alone and need support? Maybe you’re applying for a new job but you’re lacking a qualification you might need? You may be in the Yellow Zone, and we can help!
You’ve already made that change, you’re back on track with your journey! You are no longer seeking help and support as you’ve already made that next step. You’re in the Green Zone. However if there is still anything you need support with then please don’t be afraid to get in contact with us, we can help!
